Supervision and Inspection for medicines and under control products

The main objective of this organization is to ensure that the supplied or available medicines are in good condition as well as their availability for every one is provided.

This is done through:
 
• To grant permit for exploitation and formation of pharmacies under university supervision, repetitive and frequent supervision over pharmacies activities. This includes selling of medicines, powder milk, food supplements etc. as well as periodical evaluation of pharmacies.
• To maintain medical supplies proportion for all pharmacies(private owned and governmental owned)through the medicine supplying companies, to monitor and report the lacks and needs to the ministry as well as introducing pharmacies to insurance companies in order to achieve conclusion.
• To maintain medical supplies proportion for all medical centers (private owned and governmental owned, hospitals and surgical centers) through the medicine supplying companies, to codify……..governmental operating centers and direct supply of harmful and dangerous medicines including anesthetizing medicines for medical centers as well as to monitor and report the lacks and needs to the ministry in addition to annual evaluation.
• Direct supply of special medicines to incurable patient  i.e. Cancer , as well as under control substances for addicts and rehab centers and supervision over consumption
• To hear and meet the received complains and to report offences to authorities in corporate with police department and legal authorities, this includes medicine peddling, smuggled and fake medicines that one of the characteristics is not approved. i.e. base material, production, storage, distribution etc. .
• To allow and maintain allowance for special illness pharmaceuticals to some pharmacies and to issue medicine vouchers to patients.
