v Background
Faculty of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) was established as higher education center of protection and occupational health offering an associated degree in occupational safety and health in 1976. In 1981 the center, having approval of high Council Cultural Revolution, continued its activity in two fields of occupational health and industrial safety in Associate degree. In 1982 the center admitted students in B. S. program in occupational health, and in 1987 the title of this center turned into faculty of occupational safety and health. In 1991 based on agreement of Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Training admitted students in the field of environmental health. Finally, in 2002 the faculty with agreement of Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Research admitted students in B. S. degree in the field of industrial safety. In 2008 Beheshti University has brought it under its inspection and after investigation and consulting its name was turned into "Faculty of Health, Safety and Environment".
Now, the faculty admits students in the following fields:
Environmental associated degree in health, Associated degree in occupational health, B.S. degree in occupational health, Associated degree in industrial safety and B.S. degree in industrial engineering.
It is hoped that by efficient planning done here aiming at quality development, this faculty in other fields it educates the required human resource in M.A. and PhD degree in the country.
Faculty of HSE has nominated by the university to be one of the Msc. and PhD center training.
v Purpose
The Faculty of Health, Safety and Environment lies its main goal in educating and cultivating of skilled, responsible and entrepreneur in various fields of occupational safety, health, and attempts to tackle industrial safety, public and private institutes requirement in industrial , mining services and agricultural section, through doing scientific and technological research in the related fields.
This faculty has been attempting to play its roles in educating professionals for upgrading the health and promotion of solid and liquid waste treatment and also air pollution control in order to have a healthy environment, know safety problems, follow safety instruction, prevent problems such as hazards due to electricity shock, industrial machinery safety designing, control of harmful physical & chemical factors in workplace fire engineering, in the path that leads to the protection of human forces that are main capitals for country development.

- B.S. Degree in Industry Engineering
(Industrial Safety)
In parallel with industry development in country and relation between production quality and industrial safety with regard to capabilities that graduates of this curriculum have benefited in prevention of illegal performances, it can be claimed that existence of this curriculum has enjoyed with special necessities.
- Disintegrated B.S. in Industrial Safety
The security of workplace is one of the most important problems of industry for safeguarding human life and preservation of investments. Technical A.D. degree holders of industrial safety capability of, preventing and control incidents and emergencies in countries workplace by means of necessary scientific information and enough technical and executive knowledge.
- A.D. Degree in Industrial Safety
The purpose of this course is to educate expert persons, familiar with safety problems and instruction and prevention of hazards due to work.
- Disintegrated B.S. in Professional Health
The purpose of this course is to educate persons that can settle in factories and health centers so that they can take an action to interpret scientifically and tackle these problems after examination and investigation of workplace problems in association with efficient and experienced persons and upper levels.
- A.D. Degree in Occupational Health
The purpose of this course is to educate persons that can settle in workplaces and provide the required controls in collaboration with other health experts and related organizations, after examination of health problems of workplaces and employed human forces concerning harmful physical, chemical, biological factors.
- A.D. Degree in Environmental Health
The purpose of this course is to educate persons that can settle in small communities and endeavor for removing environmental health problems (such as supply of drinking water, proper disposal of waste, restore of public places, pest control) through studying and investigation of areas health problems in collaboration with fit and talented levels in province.
